- PLACE AND TIMEFRAME
1.1 “Food Trip to Martinique” Contest (later referred to as “the Contest”) is sponsored by Food Trip To... (later referred to as “the Sponsor”), begins at 12:00 PM ET on August 15, 2017, and closes at 1:00 PM ET on October 22, 2017 (later referred to as “the Contest Period”).
- ELIGIBILITY
2.1 The Contest is open only to Canadian residents, having reached the age of majority at time of participation.
2.2 Employees of the Sponsors and of its partners, affiliates, promotion agencies, representatives and agents and parties involved in the development, production and distribution of material related to this Contest, and any person which whom such persons resides and any member of his or her immediate family are not eligible to participate in the Contest. For the purposes of these rules (“Rules”), “immediate family” shall include father, mother, brother(s), sister(s), children, husband, wife or partner of such person, whether or not they reside in the same household.
- PARTICIPATION
3.1 There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest. The Participant may either purchase a Food Trip To Martinique box (later referred to as “the Participating Product”) or send a Letter (later referred to as “the Letter”) to the Sponsor to enter the Contest. Both ways, a Participant needs to obtain a participating card (later referred to as “the Participation Card”) on which appears a unique alphanumerical code.
3.2 In the case of a participation with purchase, the Participant must first purchase a Participating Product: the Food Trip To Martinique box sold through the foodtripto.com website. Each box contains a Participation Card. The Participant then has to preciously hold on to this Participation Card until the draw that will take place at the end of the Contest Period.
3.3 A Participant may also enter the Contest without purchase by mail by sending a handwritten Letter to the following address: Food Trip To Martinique Contest, Food Trip To..., 160 St-Viateur Est, Suite 710, Montréal (Québec), H2T 1A8. The Letter must be of at least fifty (50) words and describe why the participant would like to travel to Martinique. The Letter must also include the Participant’s first and last name, email address and province of residence. The Participant must include a stamped envelope with his/her return address. The Participant must send the Letter and the envelope by regular prepaid mail. In order to be eligible, the Letter must be received by October, 8, 2017 at 23:59 ET. The Sponsor will then send, by return mail, a Participation Card. The Participant then has to hold on to this Participation Card until the draw that will take place at the end of the Contest Period.
3.4 Online and print advertising will be used to promote the Contest during the Contest Period.
